Self-Study Course Information

Cost: The cost of the self-study course is $896. Cost includes, book, materials, instructor email privileges, and certificate of completion. The full price of the self-study can be applied towards the registration fee for an on-site (your location) seminar for a period of two years. Subtract $75 if you already have a copy of Frank's book and do not want another.

Length: 4 months from date of receipt of Self-Study Course Materials. Some flexibility is allowed on the time-frame - based on your schedule and Frank's.

Materials: You will be sent an autographed copy of Franks book - Engineering Documentation Control Handbook, a copy of his seminar Power Point slides (licensed only for internal use), a hard copy of the Course Guide and Outline and two copies of your certificate of completion, and two each of Frank's booklets.

The Process:

1st - You determine if you wish to participate. Obtain a check for the proper amount and mail it to EC3 Corp.

2nd - Upon receipt of the check, Frank will send you a copy of his book - Engineering Documentation Control Handbook - with a study guide and a licenced copy of his slides for step one.

3rd - Read the chapter(s) required for step 1 in the study guide and review his slides. Send emails to Frank whenever you have questions. Send Frank an email when the first step is complete.

4th - Frank will answer all emails normally within three work days. After each step is complete, he will email you the following three questions:
1 - What ideas for process improvement did you get from this step? Make a brief list.
2 - What concepts or rules do you feel are not applicable for your company/division? State briefly why.
3. - What concepts or rules do you disagree with? State briefly why.

5th - Upon receipt of your answers (no right or wrong), Frank will send you the slides for the next step.

6th. - Repeat 3 and 4 above for all eight steps

7th - When you have finished all eight steps in the course outline Frank will send you a Certificate of Completion. Put a copy of the certificate in your file and send the other to your organization's personnel file to support your next request for promotion.
